Willard Lee Adkins

Willard Lee Adkins, 67, of Amigo, formerly of Bud, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Beckley VA Medical Center. Born February 2, 1951 at Bud, he was the son of the late Bernie and Della Madeline (Reed) Adkins. Willard was a graduate of Herndon High School, former welder for S&T Welding, and a master woodworker. He is preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Shirley Forbes of Herndon Heights, Pauline McKinney of San Diego, CA, George Adkins and his wife, Cathy of Basin, and Paul Adkins and his wife, Vada of Kimball; ten nieces and nephews; and eleven great nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 12 Noon, Monday, July 9, 2018 at Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel, Mullens. Friends may call one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
