Vada Jeanette Warf

Vada Jeanette Warf, 82, of Corinne, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Princeton Community Hospital, Princeton following a long illness. Born June 5, 1939 at Itmann, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Dora (Eagle) Whitson. Vada was a homemaker, the last surviving member of her immediate family, and was a 40 year resident of Corinne. When she was able, she was a member of the Allen Junction Church of God prior to it's closing. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her first husband, James Arthur Lawson, Sr. and second husband, Russell Warf; two children, Vada June Short and Robert Darnell Lawson; and seven siblings, Ruth Anderson, Joyce Whitson, Delores Bennett, Marie Dunford, John D. Whitson, Eugene Whitson, and Doug Whitson. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, James A. Lawson, Jr. and wife, Jackie of Charleston; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
