Shirley A. Mullins

February 14, 1938 - March 27, 2013

Shirley Ann Mullins, 75, formerly of Itmann, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Princeton Health Care following a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Born February 14, 1938 at Dott, WV, she was the daughter of the late James and Mildred Billings Graham. Shirley was a homemaker and was a member of Herndon Freewill Baptist Church. In her leisure she enjoyed fishing and especially loved spending time at Moncove Lake with her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Edward Mullins. Those left to cherish her memory include her five children, Sheila Bowers Johnson and her husband, Randy of Barger Springs, Willie (Bill) Mullins, Jr. of Pipestem, Linda Austin of Princeton, Carla Lane and her husband, Ricky of Fairdale, and Shelma Justice and her husband, John Doran of Sophia; five sisters; seven brothers; twelve grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William O. Tolliver officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ricky Lane, Matt Lane, Brandon Justice, J.J. Justice, Dusty Cantley, and John Doran. The family of Shirley Mullins is being cared for by the staff of Tankersley Funeral Home, Mullens.
