Margaret Rose Whitt, 96 of Mullens, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior and be reunited with her family on the other side on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Wyoming Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a long illness. Born September 28, 1924 at Rhodell, she was the daughter of Vester Lee and Lura (Lilly) Graham. Mrs. Whitt was a homemaker and was a charter member of the Mullens Pentecostal Holiness Church. Margaret was considered by her children to be the matriarch of the family and was the glue that held them all together. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Shadric Aaron Whitt; an infant son, Roby Eugene Whitt; two grandchildren, Stephanie Thomas and Jeremy “Jay” Biggs; two sons-in-law, George Biggs and Tim Cook; two brothers and three sisters. Those left to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy include her children, Donna Biggs, Jack Whitt and wife Trish, Sharon Hunter and husband Butch, Rosanna Mongeni and husband Earl, Teresa Weis and husband Jimmy, Roger Whitt and wife Rhonda, Debbie Cook, and Donnie Whitt and wife Pam; one sister, Bertha Bratcher; twenty grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; thirteen great-great grandchildren; and two great-great-great grandchildren due in the spring. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, the family will have a private family service at the Mullens Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Lewis Arnold officiating. Burial will follow at the Lewis Graham Cemetery, Basin. Family will serve as pallbearers. The children of Margaret Whitt would like to express a heartfelt appreciation to Wyoming Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their love, care and compassion shown to their mother the past four years.
