Elmer "Buddy" Ray Massey Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Elmer "Buddy" Ray Massey, 66, of Lester, went home after along illness at the Bower's Hospice House on March 2, 2020. Elmer was born on September 19, 1953 to the late Buddy Massey and Alice (Martin) Vaughan. Elmer was a very outgoing person and loved his family very much. In his leisure he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandkids that he was very proud of. Elmer worked for the Wyoming County Board of Education for 26 years. He was full of life and would help anyone who needed help. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 44 years, Pamela Ann Massey ; two sons, Buddy Massey and Michael Massey and his girlfriend, Tanya (Hey Girl); one daughter, Patricia Criss and her husband, Johnnie; four sisters, Nancy Moore and her husband, Terry, Mary Frye and her late husband, Richard, Debbie Wingert and her husband, Tracy, and Violet; three grandchildren, Michael Criss, MaKayla Criss, and Austin Criss; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Services will be 7:00 P.M. Friday, March 6, 2020 at Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may call one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
