Betty Christine Belcher, 75, of Itmann received her angel wings on Monday, September 1, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born July 3, 1939 at Praise, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Maxine Adams Bowling. Betty was a homemaker, a member of the Itmann United Methodist Church, former employee of J &J Supermarket and Wayne's Supermarket, and was currently a Mary Kay Representative. Fifteen years ago Betty retired from her working career and became a caregiver for the love of her life, Phenis following his stroke. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a brother, Kent Bowling. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 57 years, Phenis Lee Belcher; her children, Gary Wayne Belcher and his wife, Donna of Winston Salem, NC, Sherry Lee Salters and her husband, Randy of Mullens, and Tammy Lynn Walker and her husband, Thomas of Myrtle Beach, SC; two brothers, Bill Bowling, Sr. of Morganton, NC and Ronald Bowling and his wife, Mollissia of Stringwood, IL; nine grandchildren, Krystal Bishop of Mullens, Justin Monday and his wife, Mary of Mullens, Joshua Ashley, Paula Ashley, and Tyler Ashley all of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jordan W. Belcher and his wife, Savanna of Germanton, NC, Hunter A. Belcher of Winston Salem, Cortney Salters Treadway and her husband, Eric of Pupallupy, WA, and Britany Salters of Itmann; eleven great grandchildren, Taylor Bishop, Kendal Bishop, Sarah Monday, Laetyn Belcher, Jennah Urban, Chloe Ashley, Joshua Ashley, Jr., Wyatt Ashley, Peyton Fullwood, Caleb Ashley, and Melody Ashley. Graveside Services and Burial will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 5, 2014 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Princeton with Rev. Lewis Arnold officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services Friday at the mausoleum. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Justin Monday, Jordan Belcher, Hunter Belcher, Griff Callahan, Johnny Salters, Russell Hatfield, and Pete Kirk.
